bcholmesCassandra Do, a trans woman who worked in the sex trade was murdered in her home in Toronto.
This kind of crime happens to trans people all over North America, but it's quite rare in Toronto. The last trans-related murder in T.O. happened around 1994/95 -- three prostitutes (two of them trans) were murdered by the same man.
