I forgot to mention that after my incubation period, I now have super powers, including a magnetized face and the ability to pick up 5G signals.

Rogers should be wanting to hire people who become 5G hotspots!

*looks at the article from 2012...*

The program asked for a suggested donation of $2 per 15 minutes of Wi-Fi, donated via PayPal, but had no official going rate (though you had to pay something). The money, once collected, would go directly to the person manning the 4G hotspot...

...But the marketing gimmick itself requires something else: recognition of another human being, one who is suffering. Whereas plenty of people seemed to think that was dehumanizing, it’s actually kind of the opposite: it’s literally humanizing. Thinking about and looking at the homeless is hard.

Interesting, that. Might've been better if they'd gotten an hourly wage plus the donation...but it was something better than nothing from the POV of those getting the money for that work at the time. Something to file away for future projects to improve upon.

I'm in favor of a more direct approach, where the wealth of billionaires is handed to the poor and disenfranchised; keeping back a small amount to pay for a Delta Heavy to launch the billionaire into a photosphere-intersecting solar orbit.

My 5G still drops all the time and I don't get why my face isn't magnetic. This is unfair.

Hooray!

Meanwhile, all I got (which is a documented side effect, alas,) was a reboot of my period (which I thought I had finally aged out of.) Whoo.
