Visiting Wisconsin

I'm in Wisconsin. Not for the usual reason I'm in Wisconsin (Wiscon!). No, this is far nerdier. Instead, I'm here to take part in a three-day Villains and Vigilantes campaign/game. It's at a small gaming convention called Gary Con. Bill Willingham is GMing a game in which two super hero teams meet up in a small town. Jeff Dee and Jack Herman are players -- Jeff's on one team (the Milwaukee Misfits) and Jack's on the other (The Untouchables).

It's been really cool, so far. Of course, after meeting, the two teams had to fight each other. It's traditional.

My ex-wife Tracy went to high school with Jeff Dee. I learned this just after he had married Amanda and moved away, and after the breakup of my own long-running V&V campaign.
