Although Venezuelan media seems to be reporting that Aristide has suddenly arrived in Cuba, people on my mailing lists insist that he's still in South Africa.

Edit: Haiti Liberte previously reported that "The South African Government confirms that high-level negotiations involving Cuba and the U.S. are underway for the return in Haiti of the exiled former President Jean Bertrand Aristide." It appears that they're also repeating the erroneous report of him currently being in Cuba.

Truth is slippery.
