I had to cancel out on a chance for Rio. Oh well. Another day. Still haven't been to South America.

I had, in the back of my mind, an idea to look into going to the World Social Forum in Dakar, but I just looked it up and it's happening in early February -- much earlier in the year than I thought. Given that I've done no planning, I don't think I can swing that.
