Thanks for the wishes, but outside of my home state, where things may be tolerable, I think it's going to be really ugly. I'll trade your mayor for my speaker of the house of representatives.
i have some small hope for the governor's race here, but we've got the urban areas back but not the suburban and exurban. and as is expected, urban trends more left, rural trends more right. i'm not staying up until it's called-- i've been up since 5am and have to work tomorrow. so i expect to spend some portion of tomorrow crying in my breakfast.
