Gouache is neither gauche nor goulash (spoil chucker wisdom)

On the weekend, I used gouache for the first time ever. I think I like it.

Other realization: why is there no perfect container to carry art supplies? I want something with space for paints, paintbrushes, a smaller compartment to hold my ink and pen nibs but that all fits into my backpack.
