Mail!

So I'm thinking of trying out a new mail reader on the new 'puter. I've been using Netscape for most of my life, but I hate hate hate hate the mail composition in Netscape 7 (turn off the fookin' HTML ferchrissakes!)

I've experimented with Pegasus at work, but I find that if I let my Inbox get big, the thing takes a long, long time to load. And I frequently let my Inbox get big.

Flitting around, I decided to try out a Java Mail reader called Pooka. I installed it using Java Web Start (which I think it tres neat). But it doesn't support filters. Can't life without filters.

I've just found a Java-based reader called Columba, and I'm experimenting with it now.
