The Law is a Ass
Apr. 19th, 2002 10:47 pmSo, yesterday morning, I spoke to a lawyer about children and legal responsibility stuff. Ldot has been making more concrete plans about her desire to have kids, and I want to determine if there are any ways that I can avoid becoming legally responsible for them. It may be necessary for us to have separate residences.
Then in the afternoon, I went off to a client meeting. (Which is higher on the evil scale: lawyer, or customer? Hmmm...)
My project has all the ear-marks of a disaster waiting to happen. There are way too many groups involved, too many external dependencies, and not enough time to do the work in. The guy in charge has alienated a whole bunch'a people, and the overall project manager is micro-managing, and hence our big status meetings are as much fun as a visit to the dentist.
Today I got to play fun-with-WebSphere. That was more fun than poking myself in the eye with a pointed stick!
