Over at Shakesville, quixote talks about getting rid of "the legal fiction of corporate personhood. Only flesh-and-blood people can be put in jail, and real people who sign off on a corporation's decisions must be held responsible for them."

I think the idea or corporate personhood is one of the biggest legal mistakes ever created.

Pardon my ignorance, but is that doctrine in effect in Canada too?

You mean corporate personhood? Yeah. Or do you mean the Fairness Doctrine (mentioned in the Shakesville post)? 'Cause I don't think so.
