Bringing Wiscon Home to Toronto

maize and I have been talking about trying to start a leftist and/or radical political SF reading group in Toronto. Something like Think Galactic, but more Torontonian! Get together something like once a month to discuss some good political SF book.

And there's already a poll (on both Dreamwidth and LiveJournal).

Cool! Also, I think I can safely speak for Think Galactic when I say we'd be happy for you to email us/post to our community/etc. if you want any advice. Not that there's a whole lot to running a reading group, other than figuring out what methods work for your group-- the real trick is just getting enough of a group attending fairly consistently (although we've definitely had months where only 3 or so show up, so that's normal).
