bcholmesmaize and I have been talking about trying to start a leftist and/or radical political SF reading group in Toronto. Something like Think Galactic, but more Torontonian! Get together something like once a month to discuss some good political SF book.
And there's already a poll (on both Dreamwidth and LiveJournal).
