Hacklab?

So, having run into references to Hacklab about a gazillion times in the last coupl'a days, I'm kinda thinking of checking it out. Anyone on my friends list involved (yes, I know there's at least one person on my friends list very involved)? What do you get out of it? How does it feed you?

I don't go often enugh. Most folks are interesting to say the least. They often do fun little things together and take gadjets apart, hang and discuss many matters beyond my keening.

There is always someone there to discribe what's going on to a mostly clueless me. Nice folks but far too smart for their own good. I like them. :)
