That's a start. The Church evidently couldn't care less about environmentalism, so it would be a welcome relief if they cut the same breaks to teh gay. After a few generations of equity, maybe our descendants could appreciate that Christians are Biblically called to stewardship of the Earth but there is no such call to bossing around our non-believing neighbor.

I feel so special being a Vatican-approved threat and all that. I was beginning to feel left out since he stopped the anti-Witch antics because he needed to crack down on homosexuality. After all, it's a big deal since so many of his Priests have been caught with their candles in an altar boy.

I wish we could just dismiss this as the ignorant ramblings of a very old man, but unfortunately he is listened to. I wonder how many Catholic priests are in any way trans? (We know a fair number of them are gay!)
