So the house has been under construction for a month. The construction guy has been taking much longer than we thought. Unfortunately, everyone in Toronto is doing construction with an eye to sell (the market it hot, right now), so it'd be hard getting someone else to do the work.

The good news is that the end result is looking pretty good. And my office is closing for a week over the holidays, so I'll have some time to paint and stuff. But still... I want this to be done with.

a walkman with Dave Mattews Band CD works wonders against loud construction...

I wonder if it's easier or harder to live with / work on the construction process, when the goal is to move out?

At least you can keep reminding yourself that it doesn't have to be perfect.

After having just had flooring redone in kitchen/dining/bath that took 4 days I can't imagine the disruption that having more of a house or longer time would cause. I'm suffering from what we had done. But it looks beautiful
