Tournament

bcholmesEvery once in a while, my building has a poker tournament. Pretty much every night they've played, I've either missed the announcement, or I'd need to be out of town. But tonight I caught the game. The payouts were strange. Second place gets their buy-in back, and first place takes the rest.
When it was just down to me and one other guy (who had to leave in a bit), we decided to split the pot.

Date: 2008-03-15 10:36 pm (UTC)I think the funniest hand of the night happened just after winning a pot with pocket tens. The very next hand, I was dealt another pair of tens. I raised it up before the flop and two positions later, another guy (on a short stack) went all in. Everyone else went out, so I called the guy. He had the black tens; I had the red tens.
