A little while after WisCon, I was asked to talk about the Transsexuality as Trope panel on RadioFree Transburgh, an online Internet radio interview show. Both Charlie and I were interviewed (separately, though), and the final interview was just posted today.
Sadly, at times we had sound-quality problems, but in general, I think Emilia has done a good job with bringing the material together.

It's just never occurred to me that I should be asking for stories about danish females who become academic aussies, or whatever. For example, all the stories I've read with female mathematicians have struck me as failing to understand maths sufficiently to be convincing.
And it seems to me that that isn't necessarily what you're looking for anyway; you're looking for characters who have experiences that resonate with your experiences (and I can see that that's a plenty big enough challenge in our society when it comes to transgender).
