Casting my Life

I asked Jason the other day about who he'd cast in the movie version of his life. He immediately stumbled on Mr. Sharkey. "I think only Mr. Sharkey can play Mr. Sharkey." I suggested Ving Rhames, even though Mr. Sharkey isn't black.

I brought up the same question with Siobhan, and we decided that John Cusack would play Casper. John's a bit old for the part, but so what. We haven't reached agreement on Axel. My suggestion of Hugh Laurie was met with icy stares.

Mind you, I think Stephen Fry would play Jason fairly well. Casting Siobhan has proved to be something of a challenge, 'cause there aren't all that many physically strong punky-dykey actresses working in the Hollywood system.

hee hee. yeah w/ brendan fraiser as my bf, and brad pitt as my lover...and Nick cage as the ol' high school bf who is now my bf, and then we'll throw samantha mathis in as the stipper who taught me the ropes and had my 1st lesbian crush on....see, they really should make a movie on my life...then we'll have Gregory Hines play my dance mentor who inspired me to REAL art in dance and life...and Dave Matthews can play himself for the concert scene.....

If one casts by physical features, Julianne Moore has the right hair, but the wrong eyes.
