I don't think I understand the slagging that's happening because of Dion's decision to not run a Liberal against Elizabeth May.

My understanding is that MacKay is pretty much assured the seat, no matter if the Liberals ran an opponent or not. And by not running, it gives the Greens an opportunity to get more votes. Maybe it's that the entrenched power structure, and that includes the media, just don't think that the Liberals should be aiding a competitor "leftist" party like that?
