Actually, nowehere near Dusseldorf, save inasmuch as anything in Europe is near anything else in Europs (no joke, Europe is actually smaller than Etobicoke!)...I just like saying Dusseldorf.
Small but pleasant country. One city, which is quite nice, with some hilly countryside to the north - complete with 14th century castles and what have you. Most people speak French, but there's a local Luxembourg language as well. Lots of manual jobs are done by workforce imported from the south, so expect to hear a good deal of Spanish and Portugese.
Any idea how you'll get there? Direct flight to Luxembourg, or via Amsterdam?
