Film Festival

Despite the fact that I love film and I live in Toronto (where no community can be said to be really serious until it has its own film festival), I've never really made an effort to get out to the Toronto International Film Festival (film festival for the film-watching community).

That changes this year. I've just gone through the incredibly complicated process of choosing my films. These people need an online sign-up process, I'm telling you. I should get my tickets on Monday or Tuesday.

Cool! I'm not attending this year, but have only ever done the line-up-for-individual-tickets process in the past, which is more than slightly arduous. I've been meaning for a few years now to take the entire festival off work and go all-out. I have yet to do it because more enticing vacation options always come up, though.
