Who? ::ducks and runs:: - but truly, name-dropping almost *never* works on me as I don't usually know who the famous people are. Bit challenged in that direction, me.
They're only famous in Canadian terms. They're bothactors in a Canadian TV series called Corner Gas. I wouldn't expect non-Canadians to recognize the names.
On a related note, I was thrown off recently when in the States and twice had mentioned Dr. David Suzuki in conversation only to have my (American) colleagues look a bit bewildered.
Apparently Canadian fame doesn't count for much outside of the Dominion.
Oh dear, that would be part of the world-wide pact to ignore all things Canadian, wouldn't it? ;-) Now what would float my boat would be to run into the star of Due South (whose name I can't remember, see?) in his Mountie uniform ... mmmm
