i've always loved the narnia books - i'm not one of those who really gives a frog one way or the other, regarding their alleged christianism - so i was really looking forward to seeing this. but everything i've read, by anyone whose opinion i pay attention to, suggests that my hopeful expectations are dashed. dashed, i tell you.
i'll still rent it, of course. i guess i just won't bother to make popcorn and dim the lights for it.
