So I went to the comic book store today for the first time in almost two months. Picked up a big stack o' comix. Strangers in Paradise, The Filth (weird book), The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Pro and some other indie titles. And JSA, my own particular eye candy.
I just read Four Women by Sam Kieth. God, what a story. I don't know how to say anything more about it than that. God. What a story.

I also heard that he's doing a Zero Girl sequel, which seems a little odd to me. But maybe it'll work.

I've read Zero Girl, and quite liked it. There was a certain dark fable quality to it that really appealed to me. "Circles are good. Squares are bad."
Four Women is nothing like Zero Girl. There's no fantasy element to it; it takes place in the "real" world. And it's very intense. I really recommend it.
