Late Adopter

I worked for a company that was an early adopter of the J2EE spec. I've used EJBs for way too long. I'm a bit saddened to discover just how late I'm getting into the Inversion-of-Control containers that seem to be popping up like flies.

I'm willing to suggest that Dependency Injection patterns are possibly the most interesting trend to happen in Java for a while.
