Head of State

Technically, She's the head of state of a number of Commonwealth countries. I know a few Republicans here in Australia who get very annoyed at that. There was an episode of House (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412142/) where the main character calls the Australian doctor a "brit". The doctor gets irate and then House points out that the Queen's on our currency, so we must be British!

Funnily enough I don't get upset when people mistake me for an Aussie here in the US, even though they always apologise *chuckle*
