"Ohmigod, the Washington Times implied that our politics align with Bush's. Quick: refute it."

EDIT: Ooops. Washington Times, not Washington Post.

My favorite part...."If Martin's Liberal Party is re-elected for the fourth consecutive time, Canadian taxpayers will continue footing the bill for an expensive welfare state epitomized by its archaic government-run health-care system. Social policy experimentation on issues such as drugs and homosexual rights will continue in an incremental but decidedly progressive direction."

I was unaware that we are an "expensive welfare state", and that our slightly flawed but "envy or the world" health care system is in fact a "archaic government-run health-care system".

I'm so glad that these unbiased oputsiders have told me this.

My vision of Canada is much more accurate now.
(/sarcasm)

I want to live somewhere where politicians believe in social darwinism and health care has a opportunistic or at the very least "take care of yourselves" attitude.

Um, that's actually something in the Washington Times, which is the newspaper owned by the Moonies. It's not nearly as well-regarded as the Washington Post, which does a much better job of being a real newspaper.

Still, I'll concede your basic point. :)

The Washington Times, actually, who are known to be a nutcase right wing paper, unlike the post.
