Car Alarms
Oct. 7th, 2005 12:38 pmEvery time I hear a car alarm go off for more than a couple of seconds, I have this strong urge to vandalize it.
I don't know who originally invented car alarms, but I can't think of any way that a design could fail more completely.

In the complex where my mother used to live, there were stereo theives who would set off car alarms, wait for 10-15 minutes, and then break in. The super eventually dropped a note in everybodys' mailbox that said, "Dumbass. If you aren't going to be around to hear it, turn off the fucking alarm."
