Ruby and Java

I found this article about a comparison between a Ruby implementation and a Java implementation fairly interesting. My short toying with Ruby a few years ago left a bad taste in my mouth, and I pretty much pegged it as a toy language. But Ruby on Rails has been getting a lot of press lately.

I found the article interesting, but I hafta confess that I still believe that Ruby would need a lot of commercial buy-in before it'd be viable in the kind of IT Services work I do.

Hi BC!
I'm a bit curious about Ruby on Rails, because it's a language similar to PHP or ASP to make dynamic web pages.

However I have no experience in it.
