I was disappointed with Sideways (one of those situations where I thought from almost the very beginning that the lead characters had dug their own grave and weren't interesting enough to make me curious if they'd be able to crawl out of it), and Kinsey had extremely touching moments but also whole segments which left me feeling somewhat cold.

You're going to love Kinsey. :D I thought Laura Linney was best of all in it. And it's such a relevant movie at this point, as people are beginning to forget why learning and research in these areas are so important. The politics of sexuality. Right up your alley, IMHO.

There's a theatrical release of "Shake Hands With The Devil" with 37 minutes not shown on CBC's "The Passionate Eye" last Monday.

And Kinsey was truly amazing. But see "Million Dollar Baby" before someone lets on about the major plot twist.
