I think that perhaps you're not clear on the notion (in law) that taxes and theft are different things.

No, I'm quite clear on the Notion, but that's all it is, an idea, a concept to make socialists feel good about the evil they practice. Taxation is theft, and to differentiate the two is simply ignorance.
