Less (Nesman) is More

Dictionary.com gives this definition:
- Efficient, sparing, or conservative use: wrote with an economy of language.
I know that I tend toward understatement, rather than overstatement.
If I'm not sure whether or not saying something is a Good Idea, I'll err on the side of not saying.
I once remarked to a friend of mine that the phrase "awkward silence" described a state that wasn't naturally-occuring in the BC-verse.
I've had to work to curb this tendency in a very large number of circumstances. Work is a big one. Learning to repeat stuff until it sinks in with people has been really foreign. Me, I live in this quotation:
