Brine and Brine! What is Brine?

I have a ginormous new pot for brining a whole turkey in. The previous pot that I had used didn't quite fit the turkey in past years, and I'd hafta flip the turkey a couple of times to ensure that it brines fully.

Gpa Kelly insisted on brining the turkey in advance of our Thanksgiving visit one year, but had problems doing exactly that flipping and so sloshed half the tub of brine into a nearby open kitchen drawer. So congrats on your new pot! May it save you from many briny threats.
