The Event Horizon of Sarnia
Dec. 28th, 2003 12:42 amSo I was watching the CBC news earlier this evening and saw an interview with a guy named Paul Wells, a political journalist for Macleans magazine -- a major Canadian newsmag.
Bizarro. Paul Wells used to live on the other side of the park where I grew up. He shared my love for comics, and he had a phase where he was into model rockets. He taught me a few tricks about how to draw superheroes. He was a year or two ahead of me in school, and I didn't really talk to him at all after about grade five. But I saw him on TV and I said, "Hey, I know that guy."

I mean, sometimes that's a weird transition (I went to school with a guy who is a doctor on our insurance now-I won't use him)...but sometimes it's a natural progression.
