There was a time when I was passionately in love with Australia. I had such a good time, on both of my trips there. And one of the things I really valued was the time I got to spend with my friend, Ailsa.

I got to know Ailsa because she was in FASS. Which is one of those incredible stories: she was travelling around Canada on vacation, and when she got through Kitchener/Waterloo she saw our audition posters. So she stayed for the next five weeks, to go through rehearsals and the actual theatre run. Most of us in the show didn't know that she wasn't a student... she was just a tourist. But she was fiery, and full of energy. Which is part of what makes her an incredible person.

Once again, she was in Canada. On vacation. And doing an incredible performance. She's been building up her own marketing company, and she came in to Intelliware to give us a great talk. She's a pretty incredible person; I'm happy to know her.
