Which seems an oddly apropos place to pass this along, in case you haven't heard it: former FRAPH leader Emmanuel Constant has been sentenced to a long prison term for fraud.

I saw this yesterday. I kept thinking about that scene from The Dew Breaker where the narrator thinks that she sees Emmanuel Constant in their church, and if it is Constant, she wants to make a fuss, but she's not sure, and she's not sure how to be sure.

There's been a lot of suspicion over the years that Constant knows (firsthand) too much about CIA involvement in Haiti to ever be held accountable for any of the things that FRAPH did after the first coup. But this is something, at least.
