It looks like Hurricane Gustav is doing a real number on Jakmèl. I think Jakmèl is one of the most beautiful places in Haiti.

It's so sad when that happens. After that hurricaine hit Halifax, I didn't think it was that bad, until I went to Nova Scotia. It looked like every third tree in the whole province had been knocked down. Miles and miles of damage, and this was a year after, IIRC.

I can only imagine what Gustav is doing to Haiti. It's more than trees that are being destroyed there.
