It's not me. It's Shirley Henderson from the movie Yes
And, in the end, it simply isn't worth / Your while to try and clean your life away. / You can't. For, everything you do or say / Is there, forever. It leaves evidence. / In fact it's really only common sense; / There's no such thing as nothing, not at all. / It may be really very, very small / But it's still there. In fact I think I'd guess / That "no" does not exist. There's only "yes".
It might be just me but I checked some of the bigger news sites and found no mention of the day there. I even did searches and found mostly links to 'Gay' stories, which I assume probably have the word Transgendered in there somewhere. Does anyone know if the cable news or any site with coverage of this day?
Thanks for the reminder. Have now sent similar post to forum at work - we have LGBT forums set up and I sent a link to our transgender forum. I seem to be the only person who ever posts there and I'm not even T myself! Oh well - maybe people read who don't post. I'm guessing and hoping so.
