Little Yellow Bird
Oct. 11th, 2002 11:18 pmSo this week, I finally went ahead and opened up our SourceForge project. The stuff I've been playing with for the last coupl'a days is gonna be open sourced.
I've been making noises about the company open sourcing something for a while. The testing framework that we've been using for several months seemed like a good thing to open source, so we're doin' it. We've even found a very-likely-to-be-unique project name: Amakihi (a little yellow bird that eats bugs and likes Java). Actual code should be checked in to CVS in a few days.
This is point of no return, now. I'm thrilled.
This is the second open source project I've worked on. The first was an HTTP Client for Apache/Jakarta project, Slide (I'm a big fan of WebDAV technology). The code has mostly moved into the Commons project.
