Is there anyone on my friends list who has a video camera who would be willing to tape an event in the city this month?

I will also be at wiscon, so I can't do the actual taping (nor do I believe that I have the skill to do a decent job), but I have a bizarre and possibly crappy video camera I can lend to someone who can. You may want to see if you know anybody with a good video camera first, but as a fallback this could be doable.

Yay! WisCon! Completely unrelated to your post, are you driving your Prius to Madcity? If so, would you mind terribly if I sat in the drivers seat and asked a few questions about your car? My car is dying and I am shopping around for environmentally friendly cars. If not, no worries. Also, care to get together for a drink (alcoholic or otherwise, I can't remember if you drink or not) and catch up a bit? My treat!

Sure, I'm happy to let you test drive the Prius, but you should know that mine is an early model vehicle, and the body and interior has changed considerably for the newer models.

Yay! for meals and talking about the Prius. I do intend to go to a dealer but I want to talk to someone who won't give me a sales pitch, you know? I don't make much money so getting a new one would be...a serious monetary commitment on my part. If I am going to do it, I want to know everything I can about the car before I commit to further economic slavery. LOL
