I get by with a little help from my friends

Are we going to be friends forever? Asked Piglet. Even longer, Pooh answered.

On Monday night, I had dinner with my friends Rosie, Barry and Harry. I've know Harry since high school. I've known Rosie since first year university.

One of the things I've often thought about is the relationship between friends and change. I have changed many, many times in my thirty-five years of life. And at times, my experience of closeness to people has often related to how they interact with change going on in my life.

But some of my friends are almost constants in my life. People I've known for a long, long time. Such friends are good to have.
