This summer, the Shaw Festival is performing a double-bill: two short Chekhov plays, The Bear and The Players. Both directed, it seems, by someone named Eda Holmes. No relation as far as I know.
I'm an absolute nut for Chekhov and I'm wondering if anyone might be up for seeing the show. I haven't thought about dates, yet, but it's showing from June 10 to Sept. 10. Interested? Comment here.
(In university, I was in a double-bill that included The Bear, but I was in the other play: Woody Allen's God. I don't think I've seen a production of The Players).
