British Columbia not electing Svend Robinson.

I think the whole stealing of the diamond ring and his emotional breakdown over the aftermath probably didn't work in his favour.

I would blame Robinson's loss entirely on that neckerchief. My goodness.

Because I judge him equally with all other human beings, regardless of sexual orientation, I'm glad that thief is out of there.

Why would they willing to choose to elect someone who openly succumbed to mental illness and thievery?

He's a great person and incredibly intelligent, but having a breakdown and committing a criminal act in the public eye is a surefire way not to get elected.

Speaking of which, did that smuggler Zeisman get in at all or did he pay for his crap too?

He used to represent Burnaby - New Westminster but this time he stood against Hedy Fry in Vancouver Centre, who took it off Kim Campbell in '88.

The history of the riding doesn't show it as a strong bet for the NDP (she had a 4000 majority in 2004, and beat Reform by 9000 odd in '97 & '00).
It's history is right of the Liberals, not left.
