Like many people, I've been a bit underwhelmed by this season of Torchwood. I liked certain themes of last week's episode -- the focus on multiple types of middle men, and how people who follow orders are, in many ways, really responsible for horrible stuff forward, even though the laws of fiction require us to focus on a big bad master villain. It was neat stuff to ponder, but not necessarily great execution.
Last night's episode was a lot better. We're now moving into the heart of the plot, and the big bad master villain(s?) is/are coming into the light. Can the show turn the corner in the few episodes we have left? Hm.
