Documentary Madness

Okay, I now feel like the documentary's becoming real. I interviewed a Haiti activist this morning, and got all of the bullet points that I was looking for. I'm now totally hyped to film the world.

I didn't manage to connect with a particular trans guy at WisCon (I think my message to him was too late). But the trans documentary is lower priority to me than the Haiti documentary.

As an aside, after this weekend, I'm tempted to title my trans documentary, "The Transfolk Documentaries Don't See".

WisCon: Not Letting Go of a Topic

The other trans woman on "Transsexualism as Trope" panel posted her assessment of the panel on her journal. Which, of course, fires a lot of thoughts in my brain that I want to respond to. I want to be clear that I'm not say, "no, no, no, Charlie has it all wrong!" But I do think that the points of disagreement are interesting sites of exploration.
