I picked up Spartan without knowing anything about it except that the box said that it was a David Mamet film.

I really enjoyed it. I particularly like the economy of dialog. Almost nothing is explained. A play on the word spartan?

Minority Government explained via the medium of political cartoons.

I particularly like how they've got matching ties.

(I was always quite amused by the way Jack found a number of really sharp-looking orange ties. For the non-Canadians, the party colours in Canada have been such a staple of Canadian politics for so many years that I've seen debates where the Conservative showed up with a blue tie, the Liberal showed up with a red tie and the New Democrat showed up with an orange tie. Nice of the candidates to colour code themselves.)

Eclipse 3.0 was released on Friday. I'm pleased to report that the latest version of Quantum works with Eclipse 3.0.
