bcholmesRichard III was a bit of a whiner, don't you think? Because he can't get enough dates, he decides to destroy his family. Like that makes sense?
I went to Stratford this weekend. I saw Richard III and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Neither production really knocked my socks off, although Pimpernel was a good romp. I think I prefer Anthony Andrews' foppish Blakeney (in the 1982 made-for-TV movie) to the buffoon-ish portrayal in this production.
