Here's a really cool idea. In the Java programming language, the UI can be changed by swapping in a "look and feel". Someone has created a look and feel that conveys to the user, in no uncertain terms, that the product isn't done yet.
That could have gotten me out of some current hot water in regards to one of those, "Yeah, we've decided to run with our in-house solution*. The project launches next Monday."
(* Our in-house solution is a mocked up UI sketch that I showed them three years ago to get feedback on and never heard another mention of until now.)
