The Corporation

I loved it.

I was particularly interested in the discussion about how the 14th Amendment was used to give more and more power to corporations. One stat said that, between 1890 and 1910, something like 307 court cases concerned the 14th Amendment and 290 of those argued that corporations were considered persons and could therefore hold property.

Ray Anderson (of Interface) was one of the most interesting speakers in the film -- he talked a great length about realizing that his company's production was not sustainable. In a speech to a bunch of business leaders he asked, "Do I know you well enough to call you fellow plunderers?"

Moment of creepiness: when Jonathon Ressler explained, "when people think of product placement, they think of putting brands into movies. That's what happens, except the movie is your life."

I'm also rather interested in reading Marc Barry's book.
