So, I'm in Halifax. (I've never been to the Maritimes before).

I've managed to find the conference with the world's most dull sessions.

Sorry about the dull sessions. I hope you get time to visit some of the cool stuff. McKelvies restaurant. Halifax Common and the view from the Citadel. (If you're not in a military-re-enacting mood or they are closed for the season, you can see the view without paying the entrance fee.) A nice book store downtown that I don't remember the name of (it was on the same block as an art store and across the street from a yarn store). Pier 21. My daughter.

I like Halifax. I wanted to go try out all the Tibetan and Buddhist vegetarian restaurants. There seemed to be a lot of them.
